formed California Corporation. Mr. Nick Colachis is the CEO and founder NICK HOLDINGS, and is dedicated to the company
and its shareholders.
NICK HOLDINGS mission is to provide world-class Nightclubs and Restaurants in Los Angeles,
New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tokyo.
NICK HOLDINGS mission is to integrate its Nightclubs; with its Celebrity
contacts, fashion designers, and media outlets, to promote, fund and contribute to children' charities around the world.
BACKGROUND
and HISTORY
Mr. Nick Colachis has been involved in the entertainment industry for over 25 years.
He has opened the world's best Nightclubs, worked with the world's best chefs, and entertained some of Hollywood's greatest
celebrities and actors.
Nick Colachis graduated from the University of Southern California, Marshal
School of Business in Business Entrepreneurship. In 1981, he started the Looking Good! Calendar
Company and produce the ‘Men of USC' and ‘Woman of USC' calendars.
The calendars had world
wide appeal and success. Mr. Colachis was featured on the cover of the Los Angeles Times, Newsweek,
Inc. Magazine, Forbes, Interview, Cosmopolitan, Glamour and on the Phil Donahue Show.
In 1984, he received the very prestigious award of "Entrepreneur of the Year" because of his success
with Looking Good!. Because of his access to great looking models, in 1985, Mr. Colachis rented Myron's
Ballroom on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles, and started a nightclub and restaurant. The ballroom was built in
the 1940's. He named it Vertigo Nightclub.
Within the first year of opening,
nearly every celebrity in Hollywood had visited Vertigo. And by 1987, it was rated the second best nightclub
in the world by the Hollywood Reporter.
In 1992, Mr. Colachis partnered
with songwriter/singer Prince and Paisley Park Enterprises and opened the world famous Glam
Slam nightclub and restaurant.
Six years later, he hired a set of architects to design a
new kind of dance club and restaurant to be located in the newly anticipated Kodak Theater Academy Awards Center
in Hollywood, and partnered with world famous celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck.
Mr.
Colachis leased approximately 30,000 square feet on the 4th and 5th floors of offering spectacular southern
views of the Los Angeles skyline. Nick named the club V3, but it was later changed to the Highlands.
In December of 2001, the Highlands opened. During his ownership, the Highlands grossed over $7.6 million
and had an operating profit of over $1,200,000 per year.
Mr. Colachis will be opening his new
exclusive world-class nightclub and restaurant in Los Angeles this year. He is calling the nightclub TRU$T.
